I fell in love with Stropwafels during bakpacking through Europe in 2004. we have nothing like these here. i have searched grocery stores, specailty shops, and world markets. I have come up with a few, some even imported from Holland; but they just weren't what i had remembered. We went to Octoberfest in Leavenworth, Wa earlier this month and bought a bag of your cookies. . . WOW!!! this is exactly what i was looking for! they are authentic and fresh (no 'import' not sure how long ago these were made flavor) You guys really nailed it! Thank you I am ordering the 9/10 box today. i can't wait! YUMMMMM Valiree My sister-in-law who lives in Denver found you on the Internet and they ordered your stroopwafels and also sent a box to me and they are great!!! Ik ben al sinds 1955 in the USA en ik ben nog dol op al dat lekkers! De beste stroopwafel die ik herinner, was in Ede op de markt waar een man een kraampje had en ze maakte en je kreeg een stroopwafel dan zo van het vuur af! - ik krijg graag in een catalogues enz. dus stuur me maar wat u heeft. Hartelijke groeten Riet Someone at my wife's office in Denver is from Montana and turned us on to Stroopwafels. They are *INCREDIBLE* -- hands down the best cookie I have ever had, and you can quote me on that. The only thing even in the same league as far a I am concerned is a really good "cowboy" cookie (oatmeal with nuts -- walnuts or pecans -- raisins and chocolate chips), but don't take the ranking too far. Stroopwafels are much better! By the way, I have purchased some fake stroopwafels, and while even they were good -- I mean, how can you truly screw up perfection? -- they could not hold a candle to your incredibly delicious recipe! Larry I ordered a few things for Christmas presents this year. I love the Stroopwafels and wanted to share with my family. My Mom is a big fan of Delftware so I decided the cookie jar would be perfect! It arrived at my house on the 23rd and sadly had been broken in transit. I called Dutch Brothers immediately and was very relieved when you said they would send another as soon as possible. Since you assured me I did not need to send the broken one back I was able to tape it together and Mom got to open her "present" on Christmas! She loved it and the Stroopwafels! Thank you so much for your understanding and caring! Emily Tammy and I will be stopping by more often since we now know where you are located. If you could display the Dutch flag outide your store it could be seen more readily you from the street as we almost drove by even though we had your address in our GPS. However, after entering the bakery we could tell that you have a loyal crowd of customers enjoying the fine pastries and other Dutch goodies without having much problem finding your place since the smell will have them find you without any problems. We are enjoying the stroopwafels we bought and are lucky to have them available locally at the Prairie Unique in Terry, Montana. Bob  .... Holland is a great place for a vacation ! ....
